Sorry, I meant "-machine accel=kvm". I don't know what is the exact difference but enable-kvm should also work. > > Kevin >

Hi, I am trying to use DPDK SRIOV passthrough with DPDK on Intel NICs. I am following the instructions in "Network Interface Controller Drivers", in http://fast.dpdk.org/doc/pdf-guides/nics-16.07.pdf I saw in "11.2 Setting Up a KVM Virtual Machine Monitor" in this pdf that it says to download qemu-kvm-0.14.0 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/kvm/files/qemu-kvm/ ,build it and run /usr/local/kvm/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 My question is: there is also qemu-system-x86_64 executable in qemu Fedora rpms.
