[ANNOUNCEMENT] Announcing apache/dubbo-go 1.x versions EOL in the next few months.

2023-03-28 Thread Jun Liu
Hello, community

We are planning to completely stop the maintenance of apache/dubbo-go
1.x releases within the next six months, specifically:
* For 1.5 version, we will continue to support bugfix in the next
three months. Starting from the fourth month, we will only conduct
security vulnerability fixes until we completely stop updating and
maintaining after six months from now.
* For the 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 versions, we will completely stop
updating and maintaining in 3 months and will only conduct security
vulnerability fixes during this period.

We recommend that all users upgrade to the latest continuously
maintained versions of dubbo-go 3. As of the time of this email, we
have a 3.0.x stable version and a 3.1.x new feature version.
Therefore, currently, we recommend all users of the 1.x branch upgrade
to the latest 3.0.x version.

Jun,
Regards

+1 binding

I have checked:
* LICENSE and NOTICE exist
* Signature and hash exist and contents are good
* Release notes look good
* Can compile from source
