Giorgio,

Thanks for the heads up on that. We do have Sonarcloud.io set up for
Finerat and a majority of the Fineract CN microservices.

I was still trying to get my Github ID linked and hadn't been able to fully
complete that.

Here's the open Infra ticket:

I started this discussion on Discourse and encourage people to create an
account to reply via Discourse (https://discourse.mifos.org/) as we're
trying to adopt as community-based forum tool but I also wanted to
cross-post to the Fineract and Mifos dev lists to get input from there.

Cheers,

Re: Getting started challenges

2020-03-14 Thread Vishwas Babu
Hi Scott,

Sorry you are facing these issues in getting started !

It looks like the last commit made on the develop branch on Fineract
platfrom has broken the build. For the time being, you can either

-> Locally revert the last commit
-> Use the codebase of an older release like
https://github.com/apache/fineract/commits/1.3.1

Regarding the community-app, you might probably be facing some issues with
node / ruby dependencies. Maybe share the errors you see when running grunt
serve ?

Vishwas

Getting started challenges

2020-03-14 Thread Scott Dunbar
Hi all,
I'm attempting to try to run a local version of the Fineract platform with
the code from Gitlab. It appears that there are very frequent changes and
I've yet to be able to get anything to run.

On the server side the current develop branch has a Flyway issue. On the
community app there is an error running grunt serve. The flyway issue is
new as I was able to compile and run earlier. The community app has been
broken for a few weeks now.

Is there a branch or tag that is a bit more stable for those of us just
starting out?

Thanks for any help.

Re: Wikipedia page Apache Fineract

2020-03-14 Thread Ankit Sharma
Gerald, the Mifos X page was not up to the guidelines of Wikipedia.
I believe our effort towards Apache Fineract page should be up to the mark
with Wikipedia guidelines to avoid such soft deletion.
Last year I and some of my team members tried to contribute to Mifos X page
but its sad that it finally got a deletion notice.
We need to come together as a community to get Apache Fineract Wikipedia
page published.
The most important aspect of this job is to get highly credible sources as
citations to draft this page.
