David, is there a single link online report that we can execute rather than waiting for the weekly
report? I expect its somewhere in the numerous e-mails but I think I may have missed it.

Because of all the positive feedback, I decided to put a lot more work
into this. I've boiled everything down to a single Velocity template
that is now checked into our svn and anyone can edit. It's located here:

So any of us can change the report and see the changes in the next

As Hiram points out, you can go to JIRA itself for that, though it
won't show you the votes unless you drill into the individual items.

If enough people want it (more than one or two), I'll hookup
something for our website.

2006-08-08 Thread Hernan Cunico
We will be able to pull data directly from JIRA once we use confluence
to generate Geronimo's web site. Till then we can use the wiki ;-)

Check this page, I just put the RSS URL from David's .vm

http://cwiki.apache.org/GMOxDEV/review.html

This is the raw content without applying Dave's template. AFAIK there is
no way to apply that template to an individual page in confluence.

Dave, is there a chance to configure a similar view directly in JIRA? if
so, we could pull that view.

Cheers!

to the individual issue page and from there to the vote page. At
least not to my knowledge.

This looks very good.

I guess what we can do to determine the pmc-vote status of an issue is
look at the names next to the votes and manually filter out the
non-pmc votes?

I think it would be better to mark PMC votes with an asterisk rather
than removing them all together.

This isn't in RTC, I just marked it that way and asked some people on

It is however a patch for OpenEJB which I believe Matt has already

This isn't in RTC, I just marked it that way and asked some
people on

IRC to vote for it so I could test my reporting program.

It is however a patch for OpenEJB which I believe Matt has already
completed. Matt, you wanna assign this to yourself and mark it as
completed.

Thanks.

Since this report was just a demo, I've gone through some of the
JIRAs that had patches and owners, clicked their Begin RTC Review

This looks very good.

I guess what we can do to determine the pmc-vote status of an issue
is look at the names next to the votes and manually filter out the
non-pmc votes?

many thanks!!

It would still be good to have people put +1 votes into comments so
we can track history. JIRA's voting mechanism does not track when
someone votes and then unvotes.
