Hello Team, ZooKeeper recently added a feature to enable compression for values stored in ZNodes when the nodes are persisted to disk. Obviously this feature is less interesting if the data written into the ZNodes is already compressed.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-3179 With that said, I know HBase is a big consumer of ZNode services. Does HBase store any sizable information in ZNodes? If so, is this data compressed? Would HBase installations gain from this new feature? Thanks!
