I ran a build based on trunk with JDK7, and all Hive tests passed. There were a few hcat test case failures, but I believe they are not related to JDK7, but are transient failures due to recent hcat rebase. Please raise any concern you might have. Otherwise, the JIRA will be closed as resolved in a day or two.
