Alex O'Ree commented on JUDDI-1024:
-----------------------------------

i've still not sure how long this was broken. I've tried from v4 and up of
hibernate, all with various different error conditions. Some hang forever,
others barf lots of exceptions. I even rolled back to the same version we had
with 3.1.4 which was 3.2.5.ga. All seem to have issues with our current code
base.

We can probably just drop hibernate support entirely. As long as there is at
least one supported path...

> in an attempt to juddi building on github actions and get all the fancy code
> scanning, dependabot stuff running, i ran into an issue with the hibernate
> setup. With OpenJPA, everything is fine, however on hibernate, once the
> tomcat/juddi war starts up, it throws an
> java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException without any real context as to
> what's going.
> Full log output is available here:
> I am unable to reproduce locally. Off of master, the command the CI job is
> using is
> " mvn -B install -Pgithubactiondist -Phibernate" on JDK8
>
> I'll attach the logs from my system shortly
