Were you guys still interested in adopting Log4j2 for your logging system?

Back at ApacheCon, I spoke with a couple of you, and you were interested in
switching to Log4j2 for your logging system. We're most likely going to be
releasing 2.0 GA within a month or so, and it would be nice to get the OSGi
stuff working right for then. Integration with an OSGi framework/tool like
Karaf seems like a great way to make that happen!

I've also began using Karaf at work about a month ago, so it'd be nice to
learn more about the internals regardless.

Hi Matt,

I started to work on the log4j2 support in Pax Logging (so in Karaf):

I updated dependencies for the next Pax Logging version. I plan to 
complete log4j2 support next week.
