[~coheigea], the wording in this JIRA is confusing.
Are you simply saying that we should rename the suffix from "sha" to "sha1"?

That's what the patch looks like.

If so, and considering that we are descoping 1.0.0 to stay in line with 0.14.0, 
I am going to set this to 1.1.0 for now. If you think it should be done for 
1.0.0 we can move it back in.
