Re: release of maven-pdf-plugin
grrr, I wanted to do that for such a long time, I have also been using the snapshot ever since I fixed MPDF-36 (almost 3 years ago!). Unfortunately, I still have no time to help but you'll have my +1 for a release! Thanks! -Lukas On Mon, Nov 5, 2012 at 2:35 PM, Benson Margulies bimargul...@gmail.com wrote: There's a lot of pent-up fixes there, I'll run a release tonight unless I hear an objection. Re: Release of maven-enforcer-plugin 1.2
Hello, I take it no one is eager to do a release, then :-). So I will prepare an in-house vendor-release :-). Maven2 updates in a closed area
Greetings, I support a team of Java professionals working in a closed area. Up until a few months ago I had supplied them with a frequently updated distribution of Maven2 artifacts. I did this while connected to the internet using rsync of Maven2 to a hard drive that contained my previously obtained rsync'd repository. This ensured that only updates of Maven2 be retrieved since the last time the repository had updated. Having a complete updated Maven2 repository is a requirement of our team of professionals working in a closed area. However since Maven2 no longer supports rsync, I need to find another way to satisfy this requirement. I know that repository management tools exist. In fact we are using Apache Archiva in an open area for another team of Java developers. New versions of Jars are added to POM files and Archiva goes out and downloads the specific JAR an its dependencies. Since we work in a closed area, is there a repository management tool capable of automatically updating my local Maven2 repository without looking in a modified POM? We would like the management tool to go out every 6 to 8 weeks ensuring Maven2 updates to be minimum. Thank you, David
[ANN] ASF Parent 12 Released
The Maven team is pleased to announce the release of the Apache Software Foundation Parent POM version 12. This project consists of a POM that contains settings that are likely to be useful to any Apache project that is building and releasing code with Maven 2/3. By using this project as a parent, a project gets these settings. http://maven.apache.org/pom/asf/ For details about the changes that went into this release, see the History at the bottom of the front page of the site. +1 !!! (non-binding) There is still one open issue [1] scheduled for this release.
