Right now this fails at container launch time rather than initialization of
the agent, seems like a bug?
Also it would be great to avoid surfacing a stack trace for this.

Curl is also a prerequisite for mesos-native HTTP health checks (from Mesos
1.2). We will remove it eventually but likely not in the nearest future.

Yeah, curl currently is a dependency if people wants to use container image 
support in unified containerizer. There is plan to remove this dependency.

@jieyu  what's our recommendation regarding curl dependency? I remember 
there was a discussion in the mailing list sometime back.
