 Key: TOMAHAWK-1361
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMAHAWK-1361
 Project: MyFaces Tomahawk
  Issue Type: Improvement
  Components: Date
Affects Versions: 1.1.8-SNAPSHOT
Reporter: Cagatay Civici
Assignee: Cagatay Civici
 Fix For: 1.1.8

 When inputDate component is used for selecting a date only, it does not
 display the time fields, but everytime a value is set a new date value with
 the current time is set as the value. This is inconsistent because the
 java.util.Date value does not stay same after a model update although
 component values are not changed by the user.

I can do it. I am adding the new Jira project tomorrow.
However, first of all we need a unique short name (the Jira key) for it.
Some proposals are:
1 MFCOMMONS
2 MCOMMONS
3 MYFACESCOMMONS
4 COMMONS

3 is too long I think
4 though unique might be misleading -- Apache Commons !

Well, I know, this is an issue tracker, but one hint I have to say here for
this. So, I thought, this is the point with combining JSTL and JSF, but in
another issue I've repotred that I'm missing tr:forEach tag for Facelets. I
think, that was you (or matthias), who pointed me to c:forEach tag, which has
the same behavior. Neither ui:repeat does not work for my then needs.

Ok, I am using JSF for long time, but such similar issues makes me crazy to use
them. No JSF framework is strong enough, so one has to combine several
frameworks together and that's the birth of many problems.

[Trinidad] TrinidadFilterImpl.init() and design time

2008-11-23 Thread Matthias Wessendorf
Hi,

due to some side effects with the installed Trinidad filters, I was
thinking about the following change in TrinidadFilterImpl.init():

...
if(!java.beans.Beans.isDesignTime())
{
  //There is some functionality that still might require
servlet-only filter services.
  _filters =
ClassLoaderUtils.getServices(TrinidadFilterImpl.class.getName());
  for(Filter f:_filters)
  {
f.init(filterConfig);
  }
}
...

Any objections ?
