[native-lang] Level II
Hi, We have a OO.org Support mailing list and also we are working on MediaWiki for OO.org Sinhala. 25th March 2010, we will be running a OO.org Sinhala QA workshop as well. More over we have been doing OO,org promotional workshops around the counrty. Is it possible to migrate to the Level II? The following page [1] listed some other name [He is not active.] instead of my (current OO.org Sinhala Team Lead) Appreaciate if you could correct it. Modifications of both the mention of the level and the lead's name will be done by Louis. [native-lang] Two localization issues
There are two issues I would like to bring up here... 1) Download statistics for localized versions 2) Localized versions in beta-phase Statistics -- Until recently, we could find detailed statistics about downloads here: http://ooopackages.good-day.net/bouncer/query_chart.rb . Unfortunately the statistics dosn't contain data from later than december 31th. In my oppinion these data are crusual for us. We - Marcons and NLC's have no longer any idea of how our marketing efforts are working or even how many users we have. I would like to get this issue some priority in the future. The issue has been raised on the marketing list, but nobody seems to tak'e ownership for this problem. Localized betas --- When 3.2 was published we needed 5 RC's before we could get it out. If I take a look at my own project, we didn't actually participate in the beta testing. The reason for this was, that we had to spend our time testing the localization. We didn't see the result of our localization efforts before RC1. I think it would be a good idea to compile localized versions in the beta phase. That way we could finish testing the localization earlier and therefore participate in the beta-testing and testing of RC's. -- *Leif Lodahl* DA.OpenOffice.org Blog: http://openoffice.magenta-aps.dk/author/leif Twitter: http://twitter.com/Lodahl LinkedIn: http://www.facebook.com/leif.lodahl http://dk.linkedin.com/in/lodahl Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/leif.lodahl
