It's interesting that the Canadian-English legal term Francophone
should be considered as non-existent in the English language. It might
be that you want to confine it to Canada, along with its sibling
Anglophone, though.

Francophone is a word that doesn't exist in English. Instead, it is
translated as French-speaking (see

why Jesus speaks about the French community. I for myself use it
also in French, but it's not correct.
