Re: [native-lang] South African l10n status report
Actually I'm looking forward to this all ending and me taking a months break! Thanks to all those who've helped us get this far, for help on patches and for documenting things. [native-lang] South African l10n status report
Hi Everyone, A quick update on the South African languages. We have completed 7/10 languages we targeted for 2.0 (Afrikaans, Tsonga, Zulu, Xhosa, Ndebele, Southern Sotho and Northern Sotho). These were all submitted for inclusion in OOo. We have continued to refine and update these translations. We still need to bring them in lines with 2.0rc3 - this is about 1500 words. We hope do do this over the next few days - but don't think these updates will make it into 2.0. The other 3/10 languages (Tswana, Venda, siSwati) still need major work. Tswana was included in 1.1.3 and still needs updating. The other two have been included in 2.0 but the translations are not complete, we expect the translations to be complete in time for 2.0.1. We have not done help files for any of these languages. -- Dwayne Bailey Translate.org.za +27-12-460-1095 (w) +27-83-443-7114 (cell) - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
