Re: Re: Does Apache NiFi 1.19.1 works on RHEL 9.1?

2023-05-30 Thread Matthew Hawkins
Nifi is a Java based application and so the underlying OS is irrelevant as
long as you're;
a) using a supported JVM version (8-17 LTS should be fine, I believe
release is built using 11)
b) reading the release notes of your JVM on your OS to comprehend any local
issues, which you can take up with Redhat and/or your JVM provider if
you're using a 3rd party JVM

Jim
We are upgrading our OS from RH7 to RH9 so wanted to make sure it is compatible
as I couldn't find the certified/supported OS page for NiFi.
Thanks!

2023-05-26 Thread Jim Halfpenny
Hi Martin,
Apache NiFi is Java-based so there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work on RHEL
9.1. Did you have any specific concerns or was your question around which OS
versions are supported?

Kind regards,
Jim
