Re: [EXT] Import xsl filter problem

2013-05-18 Thread Lubos
I have
ROOT
 |-- description.xml
 |-- Type.xcu
 |-- Filter.xcu
 |-- filter/navrh.xsl
 |-- META-INF/manifest.xml

Dot slash in linux is current directory and because i have Filter.xcu in
root, then path with dot is OK. After trying a lot more path's i realized,
i can use simple:
com.sun.star.documentconversion.XSLTFilter,,com.sun.star.comp.Writer.XMLOasisImporter,,%origin%/filter/navrh.xsl,
and with this Filter.xcu is pointing to path (i called extension as
xmll.oxt)
vnd.sun.star.expand:$UNO_USER_PACKAGES_CACHE/uno_packages/lufdfefm.tmp_/xmll.oxt/filter/navrh.xsl

After testing (xsl - only filter, oxt -the same filter inside extension):
LO - 4.0.3.3, OO 3.4.1
LO on Ubuntu - xsl ok, oxt ok
OO on Ubuntu - xsl ok, oxt dont work
LO on Windows 7 - xsl dont work, oxt dont work
OO on Windows 7 - xsl OK, oxt dont work

In attachment is extension and xml (anonymized data)

Maybe is problem in encoding, because xml is windows-1250, but i am not
sure, because only filter partialy works

This file: /main/svx/inc/svx/xftsfit.hxx

does not exist in the source tree.

So that is why the target could not be built. Maybe a typo in the source
file referencing it. I'm not sure where that is.

IA2 branch testing of r1484083 merege with trunk

2013-05-18 Thread V Stuart Foote
So noticed that Steve Yin has done a merge of IA2 with trunk as rev 1484083,
assuming it makes it out onto the Buildbot for tomorrow's nightly, this build
will need some love from the QA side. Fortunately, it should have all of the

Steve, so if the buildbot remains flaky, could you (or Oliver or Ariel) put up
a working dev build?

Its been quite a while since we've had a viable IA2 build to work against, and
even the r1476794 currently posted is not coming up with IAccessible2 in

branch will need a bit of hand holding to get the test environment
functional--can you please expand the tips:

Thanks for the information. Indeed, what we have will often be enough to
judge whether someone has made significant contributions or not. The
fact that we periodically refresh the Pootle database shouldn't be a
problem: we will notice who did the translation job when we approve the
suggestions, and this will be a huge step forward with respect to the
"anonymous only" model we would have been forced to adopt with the old
Pootle.

I feel very confident that we dont really need "counting" in order to judge
if a volunteer does a good or a splendid job.

Sure. We won't put a quantitative threshold. But the new Pootle will
allow us to see who did the bulk of the translation work into a language
and (when we have enough committers across all the languages) to judge
who is making high-quality contributions. And this can be the basis to
invite new committers.

Proposal for sidebar help

Hi all,

I'm going to write a new help page for the bundled help for the new

sometimes. So I need your help.

I have copied the page into a text document. Find it at

The first sentence will be the extended help tip. The links will not
work in this text document, but will go to the referenced help pages in

Turn of text and table boundaries to show it the same way as it will be

Please improve and correct the content and sent the file back to me or
put your suggestions in a reply here.

Kind regards

This is rather strange, indeed %origin%/./filter/navrh.xsl looks like
invalid URL.

The key point is were do place the Filter.xcu?

For example, if you have

ROOT
 |-- description.xml
 |-- registry/Filter.xcu
 |-- filter/navrh.xsl
 |-- META-INF/manifest.xml

then %origin%/../filter/navrh.xsl must work.

Side note, when you have a string list, it is less error prone to use
so separate its items, see example attached.

you can of course mention the 64 bit port on MacOS that brought many fixes for
all platforms. It's a huge amount of work that Herbert did and we will get rid
of the stlport, will upgrade to the clang compiler on Mac and FreeBSD. Linux
will be probably next. New platform SDK on Mac, upgrade to newer system api's
(Apple deprecated some API's), use CoreText API's, support of 64bit Java on Mac.

Many more things that are not so visible and we have to collect and document
these things for the final release notes. But we don't want make it to easy for
LO to cherry pick ;-) No I am joking they are invited to take our code when
they publicly say where it comes from.

[top posting -- more information]

Well, it seems I did NOT install all RPMs the first time. RPMs are now a
mix of names starting with "aoobasis4.0" and "openoffice4". Installs of
"aoobasi4.0" caused dumps of libraries to "/program".

Now, since I actually ust installed the "openoffice4" RPMS, "/program" has
normal binaries in it, so I can run AOO 4.0. But...still don't know why
other stuff is in this directory. I can send a full file list if someone is
interested.

for me this example work:

com.sun.star.documentconversion.XSLTFilter,,com.sun.star.comp.Writer.XMLOasisImporter,,%origin%/../filter/report.xsl,

have a look at the comma's, it's:

com.sun.star.documentconversion.XSLTFilter,,
com.sun.star.comp.Writer.XMLOasisImporter,,
%origin%/../filter/report.xsl,

Oliver

Any solutions?

You have just solved this by clarifying it here: people who rank your
application read this list. I would just recommend that you confirm that
you are available for the full 15-week period and that the schedule can
be modified accordingly if your application is selected.

Hi,

I installed it from here.

svn co
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ooo/trunk aoo-trunk
  cd aoo-trunk/main

We are no longer in incubator. Find the current master in
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/openoffice/

For building AOO3.4.1 you can use the download from
http://www.openoffice.org/download/other.html#tested-sdk

Kind regards

[EXT] Import xsl filter problem

2013-05-18 Thread Lubos
Hello,

i made simple xsl filter to import xml file. Now i am trying to create
extension from it using this info:
http://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Filter_extensions

I managed to create it, but my filter is in Tools - XMLFilter Setting -
Filter name - Edit - Transformation - XSLT for export.
When i copy paste path from XSLT for export to path XSLT for import, it
works as expected.

So my question is, how i need to edit Filter.xcu to make my filter present
in import?

Here is my Filter.xcu
http://pastebin.com/fLaxSAu6

Thanks for help!
(and sorry for my english)
