The CMS is now back online and the OpenOffice website was fully rebuilt.
As a side-effect, these stale and unwanted pages disappeared, so

has no content at the moment, as expected.

Build bot results

2014-04-22 Thread Jürgen Schmidt
Hi,

our infra friends working hard to bring the server back. To get an
overview about the active build bots and to get a clean fresh start
after the crash I recommend to delete all the related directories and
let them re-create when the bots finished with new results.

So in case you are running in trouble here please take into account that
the bot has potentially not yet rebuild and uploaded the result.

In theory having a FreeBSD port should impact the NetBSD/OpenBSD, but
there still need to be added to the portage AFAIK.

I am not BSD expert however.

I would also suggest to have more attention to the DESKTOP version of
the BSD -- PCBSD. Here is the EasyPBI documentation on how to declare
the port.

right. And Maho used to be a principal in its maintenance.

I was thinking about OpenBSD because:

On 14 January 2014, Bob Beck issued a request for funding to cover electrical
costs. If sustainable funding was not found, Beck suggested OpenBSD would shut
down.[39] The project soon received a USD$ 20 000 donation from Mircea Popescu,
the Romanian creator of the MPEx Bitcoin stock exchange, paid in Bitcoins. The
project raised USD$150 000[40] in response to the appeal, enabling it to pay
its bills and securing its short term future.[41]

As is well known, OpenBSD had a dramatic birth: one of the original forks due
as much to personality as to anything else. It also has kept with the
benevolent dictator model (note the placement of the ironizing quotation
marks). The begging campaign (aka fundraising) was successful, according to
Wikipedia.

I don't think we already have the files online. The files to be
redirected are the Release Candidates, and I may be wrong but I assume
that RC4 is not yet on SourceForge and will be uploaded during or
immediately after the vote. During this period (lasting a few days) we
don't want to allow downloads until we send out the official release
news. Reason: we may (and we did it already) decide to push a
last-minute fix even when a release has been approved but is not
distributed yet.
