[DISCUSS] Delete the notifications@ mailing list or not?
It seems we have a mailing list that nobody uses: notificati...@openoffice.apache.org Here we have no mails, so the archive is empty resp. not existing. Apache Commons is using their notifications@ for buildbot SVN checkins and production website checkins. The question is now, what do we want to do with it: - Deleting as it is not used and not needed - Changing some commit messages to arrive there instead of commits@ - Something else Marcus - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org

Could you give me a hint, How Calc filter works?.
Hi, I'm Ikhyun I'm very interest in Calc filter, so i want to know how it works. Especially, I want to know how to check meet conditions. I think, check every conditions on each cell is very inefficient. That's why I want to know how Cals`s filter works. but it is too hard to find where it is, because of UNO. I'm not sure, but as I think [pTabViewShell-Query( rQueryItem.GetQueryData(), NULL, true );] on /core/sc/source/ui/view/cellsh2.cxx:612 is executing code, but because of Query(...), no longer be able to track source code. And [*void* ScDPCacheTable http://opengrok.adfinis-sygroup.org/source/xref/aoo-trunk/main/sc/source/core/data/dpcachetable.cxx#ScDPCacheTable ::fillTable http://opengrok.adfinis-sygroup.org/source/s?refs=fillTableproject=aoo-trunk(...)] method also looks like executing code but I can't figure out SingleFilter and GoupFilter concept. Why this filter is divided? To summarize, My question is as bellow. 1. where is spreadSheet filter code. 2. what kind of algorithm is applied to Calc to make filter efficient. Could you give me a hint, How Calc filter works?. Thanks in advance.

[BUG] printing issue with correct paper size (margins)
Hello! I'm using AOO under Ubuntu (Linux64) and print onto an HP Photosmart D7260. Printing itself is not a problem. But the driver (HPlip) knows several settings for each page size because the printer supports borderless printing. For A4 there are the paper size entries A4 210x297mm A4 Small Margins 210x297mm A4 Borderless 210x297mm If I select A4 Small Margins 210x297mm AOO ignores it and uses always A4 210x297mm (with big margins). If I select A4 Borderless 210x297mm in the printer settings AOO stores this selection but uses also A4 210x297mm for printing. :-( I can select A4 Borderless 210x297mm in the settings of the print dialog and and print with this settings. But for the next print job I must select it again, and again, and again, ... Is there a chance to solve this issue? RE: Some old OOo SVN dumps, of use to anyone?
These days, it is probably cheaper and safer to split the data onto a couple of 64GB USB Flash drives, or compressed onto a single one. I keep forgetting how economical, and easier to mail, that those have become. Meanwhile, I have put Rob in touch with a participant in collecting material for the Computer History Museum. It seems that there may be a meaningful check with the materials that Herbert Duerr have collected as well. - Dennis -Original Message- From: Dennis E. Interoperability
Hi all, I have been mandated to make an AOO presentation in a class of a technical school next Thursday. As those people are exclusively working with MS Office, I'd like to know where we actually are with the issue of interoperability. Is it an ongoing work, is it planned to have in the future the exportation function to MS OO XML format or if this project has been abandoned. This issue will be certainly adressed and I'm not clear with the current situation in this area. Many thanks for all information A+ -- gw
