Nothing strange. I do not have commit access, and it's a trivial change for
someone who does. If I did have commit access I would be right on it like I

I think Rob's python scripts are in:

using the csv file you see there (?0 but I don't know where THAT comes

This was a nice feature but we need instructions.

review requested: [Issue 107734] Support for Math Input Panel in Windows 7 : [Attachment 84808] not yet ready, but can be tested

2015-06-26 Thread bugzilla
Regina Henschel rb.hensc...@t-online.de has asked for review:
Issue 107734: Support for Math Input Panel in Windows 7
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=107734

Attachment 84808: not yet ready, but can be tested
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/attachment.cgi?id=84808action=edit

--- Comment #6 from Regina Henschel rb.hensc...@t-online.de ---
Created attachment 84808
  -- https://bz.apache.org/ooo/attachment.cgi?id=84808action=edit
not yet ready, but can be tested

The patch adds a new item Import MathML from Clipboard to the menu Tools in
module Math. If the clipboard has suitable content, for example form the Math
Input Panel, then it is converted to StarMath and inserted. If the parser
cannot handle the content, then nothing is inserted.

The patch needs to be examined by an experienced developer.

Please look for coding errors.

Please look at the parts in smslots.sdi and in smath.sdi. I have mimic, what I
have seen there, but do not really know, what those parts mean. Help and
explanations would be nice.

I have tested this on Windows 7, but I have no environment to test on Linux or
Mac. They have different kind of clipboards, and I do not know, what will
happen there.

Re: [site] Donate via Amazon - update required

2015-06-26 Thread Marcus

Thanks for your hint.

I've tried to update this on our webpage. However, it seems that the ASP
webpage uses some more code (CSS and/or JS) that is not included in our
page [1].

If you have a fast idea how to get this fixed, it would be greatly
appreciated. Othwerwise I will simple delete the Amazon part - or the
complete webpage, let's see. ;-)

Am 06/25/2015 08:38 PM, schrieb Phil Steitz:

Hello AOO ppl,

Amazon has phased out the old Amazon Simple Pay that we used
initially to enable donations to the ASF via Amazon. The html
snippet included on the AOO donate page [1] needs to be updated to
match what is on the main ASF donations page [2]. It looks like the
site is generated by the CMS. I can try to update it if you all
don't mind that (and the CMS lets me do it); or someone else can do
it. The new widget takes a little more space and is a little
goofy-looking, so it would probably be best for someone with more UI
skills than me to at least verify it.

The donations using the old code will start failing soon so we need
to get on this fairly quickly (as in the next couple of weeks).
Sorry I did not give heads up sooner. I did not realize that you
were maintaining a separate donations page.

Phil

Hi Michael (and others who are interested in Math),

must be something, which I have introduced. But I do not know, what are
possible causes and where to start.

Errormessages:

Locking problem.
Sharing violation while accessing the object.

this is a problem with file locking that generally only manifests on
Windows: a file has been opened once and is opened a second time; the
second opening fails. for example, the SvStream class uses file locking
by default.

check for code that opens the file for debug purpose and forgets to
close it, or memory leak of something that contains an open file handle.

There was nothing which uses the file.

or perhaps you have the file open in a text editor?

No, the file does not exist when the error occurred.

if it's not obvious try SysInternals Process Monitor, it can trace
system calls and their return values, and even display stack traces of
the calls.

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx

With Process Monitor I could see, that there was no error in file access.

I then revert all my changes and add them piece by piece, testing after
each step. I found, that the error was, that I had added a clipboard
format in filter/source/config/fragments/types/math_MathML_XML_Math.xcu

I have attached the current version to
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=107734. I still have no
environment for LibreOffice, so Gerrit is currently no option for me. If
you nevertheless will have a look at it, that would be nice.

Kind regards
Regina
