Has or will Open Office consider designing or making a flipbook that anybody
can use. The flipbook could be used for catalogs, magazines or in my case used
for some type of book presentation. I found a site called Yumpu that once you
upload a PDF they will turn it into a type of Magazine, I guess for free all
the time. Do not see any catch to it at least not yet.
Anyway with more and more of these types of flipbooks that people can add to
their websites I thought it would be great if Open Office made something like
that to use. I would love to discuss this further. Please let me know your
thoughts on this?

I don't think that this is in scope of an office suite software. But
this is of course only my opinion.

Unfortunately, you don't tell us what the concrete problem is, so I
cannot give you a perfect help. ;-)

I've downloaded a second ago and haven't seen a problem. So, in general
it's working.

When you have problems with specific mirror servers then just change
them. On the SourceForge webpage there is a grey "Problems Downloading?"
button. Just click on it and choose a different mirror from the popup
dialog.

Where did you take that URL from?

Try
https://sourceforge.net/projects/oooextras.mirror/files/epm-3.7.tar.gz
instead.

Re: Fwd: Re: OO configure fails: Possible unintended interpolation of @ENABLE

2019-06-27 Thread Michele Denber

Well in the interest of expediency, I just commented out the two lines
in download_external_dependencies.pl that was causing ./bootstrap to
fail. This time it went much further and downloaded a bunch of files
but now it's stopping with:

...
all external libraries present
dmake-4.12.tar.bz2 exists
downloading epm_3.7.orig.tar.gz
downloading to /epm_3.7.orig.tar.gz.part
download from
http://epm.sourcearchive.com/downloads/3.7-1/epm_3.7.orig.tar.gz failed
(500 Can't connect to epm.sourcearchive.com:80 (Connection refused))
download failed
making and entering
/export/home/denber/aoo-4.1.6/main/solenv/unxsogs.pro/misc/build/
find: illegal option -- t
find: [-H | -L] path-list predicate-list
can not find the dmake package
#

What's with the "connection refused"? I tried connecting to
epm.sourcearchive.com directly from Firefox from two different computers
and got "unable to connect".

Also, what "find" does it want? I'm already giving it the
/us/xpg4/bin/find version, so this can't be a POSIX issue. man find
says there is in fact no "t" option there.

Oh, at least someone recognized it. ;-)

Buildslaves are being moved and updated by Infra. This is a work in
progress...

But I would be happy if people would *really* test those builds when
available.
Apparently that didn't happen over the last years...

English Dictionaries updated and again an error on page

2019-06-27 Thread Marco A.G. Pinto
Hello!

I have updated the English Dictionaries:
http://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/english-dictionaries-apache-openoffice

Again, I had to unpublish the release to make changes in the release
notes and again it says "Access Denied" when I try to access the site.

This happens every two months when I update the dictionaries.

Could someone fix it?

Thanks!

Kind regards,
