Probably related to my SSL or something?

Nice find !

Thank you.
After my build completes I'll see if we may need an update to our build
instructions for this.

My VM has 1:1.0.2k-21.el7_9 (1.0.2)
and the link says we now need 1.1.0 or later.

Maybe https://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-1.1.1l.tar.gz

Thanks again,
Carl

Anyway, I've copied my other ext_sources over and I'm building now but
I want to make sure my environment is good for next time I don't have
a new dependency.

Thanks,

Jim, is it possible to extent the vote for 12 hours (which will be
Midnight European time)?

Then I've a much better chance with testing *and* to take part of this vote.

Thanks

Marcus

Transparency on Mac OS

2021-10-01 Thread Joost Andrae

Hi,

on the user list someone wanted to report a crash when activating
transparency on a graphics object in calc.

AFAIK Quartz (based upon PDF) doesn't support transparency.
Maybe the transparency checkbox needs to be disabled on Mac OS.
Within /tools/options we have a printer config item to reduce/disable
transparency in VCL/GSL.

anyone ? Maybe I'm wrong... I'm not using Mac OS

Kind regards, Joost

+1 for me too.

I had to apply some additional patches, in order to compile under
Catalina. They are here:
home.apache.org/~ardovm/openoffice/catalina/catalina_nss.patch

It's ok for me if we do not want to merge them together with the PR; I
will merge them into the "catalina" branch instead. I suggest we keep
them at hand in case the Mac builds fail.

Best regards,
