Re: Question on the Copyright Holder for the 4.1 User Docs
Did you rewrite or reuse? If just a rewrite then copyright should be the ASF. If you reused then the copyright is both the ASF for the new work while retaining prior copyright. The unasked question is the license and you’ll have to choose the Creative Commons license plus decide if that allows overall license to be AL2 or not. Question on the Copyright Holder for the 4.1 User Docs
I am a bit out of my depth on Copyright Holder for the updated 4.1 User Guides should be. I see foure possible scenarios for this. 1) The ASF 2) The Project 3) The Documentation Team. 4) Listing the Individual Contributors If anyone has other suggestions please bring them forward, as this is definitely not my strong suite. Regards Keith For the AOO Documentation Team - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org Thanks to you and all the contributors for the updated documentation! It just so happens I was having trouble with an automated test on Windows today. It uses a Shift+F10 keystroke to open the context menu you would also get with a right-mouse click. In this case it's to get to a open hyperlink command in Writer. That keystroke doesn't seem to work on my Windows machine like it does on Linux so I was looking for the default shortcut keys. I have an old copy of the getting started guide from 3.0. There is an Appendix A - Keyboard shortcuts where these were found before. Under Function Key Shortcuts Shift+F10 Opens the context (pop-up) menu. In Tools > Customize I don't see an entry for that keystroke so I'm wondering if something happened to it. I don't see anything about this in the guide other than mixed in sections like Styles. Will it appear somewhere else or maybe I need to keep looking? I admit I haven't read it cover to cover yet. Thanks again! Carl - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org
