Hi,

I have added l:LibreOffice-minimal-version to my extension's
deescription.xml file.
But I got error while installing the package to Apache OpenOffice 4.
On the current version, you can not put it into an extension that targets
AOO.

2013-09-03 Thread Tsutomu Uchino
Hi,

I have the same problem on ja locale.
I downloaded PO files from the Pootle getLang project. These files contains
correct strings in UTF-8.
But their header contains the following line:
 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1\n
Is it used to detect the file encoding? Another project for 4.x contains
the following:
 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8\n

Re: Missing dictionaries on Extension website [Was Re: New version of Spanish dictionaries]

Hi,

 Hi Ricardo,

 Ricardo Berlasso schrieb:

that used to be a reference for the localized dictionaries gives page

On the extensions site there are only three custom dictionaries listed
under Spanish and other two under Español, all of them really old
 and
unmaintained. What happened with the 21 localized dictionaries? It seems
that all the extensions from Recursos lingüísticos abiertos
 disappeared!

 http://extensions.openoffice.**org/en/searchhttp://extensions.openoffice.org/en/search
And then in the list Filter by tags the item diccionario.

Is it that, what you are looking for?

 Kind regards

No. I know that path, but all Spanish dictionaries that used to be on the
extensions repository just disappeared. Just click on the links here:

 http://forum.openoffice.org/es/forum/viewtopic.php?p=5709#p5709

Up to a couple of months ago when I last checked, all of them worked. All
those 21 dictionaries are now missing, including the dictionary we are
shipping by default on our releases

 http://extensions.openoffice.org/project/es_ES-dicts

 gives Page not found.
It seems due to the update of the site. After the update, Extension
name for all extensions
are empty, and default value is title of the extension in lower case
with joined by -.
I tried to specify Extension name to one of my extension, but it would not work
as short name for the extension page.

Thank you for gread features.

When I added new release as Host on this site, it got wrong version

The package contains version value=0.2.4/ but 4.0 is shown.
It seems minimal-version was used for the package version.

I just reported this issue against 4.0 that was found by a forum user

 https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=122632

On 3.4.1 this problem is not present so it seems as a small regression. I
wonder if other localizations see the same. Can someone else test on
 another language?
I can reproduce it on en-US and ja locale. For non DB range, it should be
globstr.src#RID_GLOBSTR.STR_DB_NONAME.string.text .

Wonder why ScDBCollection::GetDBAtArea returns valid instance for non
db range in tpsort.cxx.

Re: [4.0]Wrong cursor positioning when a comment is present on the document

Hi,

2013/6/22, RGB ES rgb.m...@gmail.com:
 2013/6/21 RGB ES rgb.m...@gmail.com

I did not reported this yet.

 Download this document

 http://people.apache.org/~rgb-es/Test-Bug.odt

On pages 3 and 7 you'll see some text highlighted. There is also a
 comment
inserted on page 3. If you click on the yellow text on page 3, the cursor
jumps to the heading instead of remaining where you clicked. If you click
on the yellow text on page 7 the situation is even worse: the cursor
 jumps
to the footer of previous page.

Now, go to page 3 and delete the note: clicking on any yellow text the
 cursor behave as intended.

Also, if with the note in place you delete text under the first heading
 so
the chapter gets reduced to two pages, the jump on page 7 does not
 occur.

The document is new, all styles defined today and created on

 2013-06-15 03:58:54 (Sat, 15 Jun 2013) - Linux x86_64

Can someone confirm this this *really* strange issue?

OK, this is getting even more strange: if I hide the sidebar, the problem
 does not happen...
I can confirm the strange behaviour on side by side mode (middle icon) when
the width of the document window is not wide enough.
When the horizontal scrollbar of the document does not have scrollable
remaining,
the problem not happen on:

Hi,

I found the following paper several weeks ago in [1] (written in Japanese) that
descrives about the paper that Pedro mentioned.

On the accuracy of statistical procedures in Microsoft Excel 2010,
Submitted but rejected, January 2012

And I have seen some people want to use tool such as data analysys
tools provided on Excel.

There is Apache Commons Math library provides statistical tools
written in Java.
It is good stuff to make analysis tool as an extension also, if someone wanted.
I have started to make such thing but it's discontinued.

 Hi guys;

FWIW, while I was playing with the new random number generator I went
around looking for some references and I found this paper from the Journal
of Statistical Software (2010) titled On the Numerical Accuracy of
 Spreadsheets:

 http://www.jstatsoft.org/v34/i04/paper

It basically shows that Calc, among other Spreadsheet programs, is not
really well suited for statistical analysis.

Something rather amazing is that the major statistic suites have been moving
towards a more spreadsheet-like environment. I am personally a fan of
Minitab as it brings many functions that I needed for Quality control in a
previous job. The price of the software package sky-rocketed in few years
 though :(.

One approach could be improving our local functions to match more
demanding specifications: some of that will necessarily have to be done.
Another approach could be facilitating interactions with software like R,

and I am aware that approach has many followers. A third approach, which
I would like to suggest as a future project, would be developing a scaddin
focused on statistics and making full use of the functions from boost that
we already have available as a module but we are not using to their full
 extent.

I know we are all busy with other stuff to improve for 4.0 Release, just
thought I'd leave the idea for the future.

 cheers,

 Pedro.
