This file has several thousand graphics and amounts to 2300 pages. Inspired by this, I tried building a large plain text file in OO, to see how big I could go. I got to 39.8 million words and about 117K A5 pages. The page count seems to stop at 64K and carry on MOD 64K. In terms of response the file was effectively uneditable (several hours to propagate minimal style changes).
