Where can I get help with a complicated menu problem (API)?
Hello, Peter had asked me to write a small extension, which I did. For the meaningful operation of the extension it would be necessary to be able to set a check mark at a, self-defined, menu item. Hi, I always unpack the files with "File Roller" on Ubuntu, so I don't know nothing about tar parameters... ;-) But I never had any problems with unpacking, just tested the file you mentioned. If tar cannot find the end of the archive, that strongly suggests the download is bad or incomplete. I will try an unpack on the 4.5.0 es version to check if it unpacks correctly or not. It seems to me, that Kind is used to distinguish between ``official''
prefixes, like "http", that anyone should know, from other prefixes,
specific to AOO.

Yes, there were no checks. We (re-)enabled them in AOO 4.1.10.

Well, the title of the latest CVE was about "non-http(s) schemes". So
it did include file:// links. But let's remember that there were no
checks on the target file's extension!
