[dev] a crash issue
Hello all, I meet a problem that can make the soffice crash. It crashs when insert a new slide in the Outline view. 1.build a new Impress. 2.Insert a new slide in the Outline view via menu. 3.crash. It is not crash If click the left column of slide first before insert a new slide. I debug this issue and find some error. 1.If do not click the left column of slide,the function void LayoutMenu::Execute (SfxRequest rRequest)(sd/../layoutmenu.cxx)is called and the function const SfxPoolItem* SfxShell::ExecuteSlot( SfxRequest rReq, BOOL bAsync ) (SFX2/../shell.exe)is called and SfxExecFunc pFunc = pSlot-GetExecFnc() will be executed.but the pSlot is NULL,I think this is a reason. 2.If click the left column of slide,the function void SlideSorterViewShell::FuTemporary (SfxRequest rRequest)(sd/../slidesorterviewshell.cxx)is called and the new slide can be inserted in. Above all,I think there is something wrong in the pointer.maybe it points to a wrong address. p.s. It is not crash in the m120. I wish someone could give me some advices to solve this issue. Hello all, Thank you for your help. We have solved this problem. It is the upzip.exe file, I use the MSDOS format file but not the cgywin format. Hi LiuTao, I read your specification on the wiki server. From my point of view your feature specification is in a good shape. The only thing I miss is a string table where you describe the user interface strings. There you have to add the English and Chinese strings for your new menu entry. Could you please write an issue using IssueZilla, set the type to FEATURE, set cd as owner and add your code changes as a diff. I will check your changes and if I don't find anything critical we can add your feature to one of our CWS for OpenOffice.org 2.3.
