No, that's not correct. It is more that Windows does not support stdio
for GUI programs. You may solve that shortcoming by copying the solver's
wntmsci10.pro/bin/guistdio.com to ${installation}/program/soffice.com
and run soffice.com instead of soffice.exe

I suggest you configure Enigmail to sign using PGP/MIME instead of the
old-fashioned inline-PGP, in Thunderbird's Account Settings go to
OpenPGP Security and enable Always use PGP/MIME.

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi, just thinking about how to simple log a java extension ... is it correct that oo has no console output for stdout/stderr ? i know i can use log4j or remote debugging, but what i am really interessed in is a *simple* java.util.logging.ConsoleLogger, which can be used within all java extensions ... can jconsole from the jdk help ? if started with jconsole.exe -J-Djava.util.logging.config.file=C:\Java\logging.properties (oo java parameter: -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote) it will show a console log, but i don't know how to set my own logger ...
