thanks, it works. I'm going to do a full import again to be clean. I'll
setup minutly replicate until the new system is ready (this is a cluster
of 2 servers currently in production).

But I'd advise against catching up from a few months ago. At this point
you'd be better off downloading a recent planet and re-initiating
replication from that. Also, be advised that you will need to
re-initialize *again* when the licence change completes and you want to
move over to an ODbL database. At this point you may want to wait for
that - it won't be long (even though no one knows how long).

I missread this part, you mean that when the licence change will occur,
the replication will be cuted down again, but the replication mechanisms
will remain the same, right?

+1 Would it be possible to get a different set of icons that don't have the
licensing issue? If we want to get more people using the editor it will need to
be included in the package, or very easy to install. It might be worth looking
at the CycleStreets app which has a bundle pack separate installer for offline
maps.

Here's a few things from my initial testing.

On the initial load area screen, it would be nicer to state how recent the last
known location is. Maybe even the distance between that GPS location and the
current network location?

Is it possible to configure other Map backgrounds beyond the ones that are
currently defined?

I think the history command could be better named More info.

When I zoom in really far the width of the ways gets too wide, thus makes it
more difficult to select things in a very detailed area. Could the lines and
points be thinner when zoomed in very far?

Shaun

We could draw some icons ourself after GSoC.

Could you open some feature-request tickets?

I've added them, however I can only at them as bugs, there's no way to be able
to mark them as enhancements. (Probably a project permissions issue).

We can think about these and then see if someone is willing to implement
 them later.
I'm not sure about the more info but the others sound like good features
 to have.

I'm being pedantic about the page it's going, as the page it currently goes to
is only the current version.

Lets try to keep the codebase stable for the few days until the GSoC
 deadline in a few days.

:-) It's great to seem some good progress from the GSoC project. I can't wait
for it to appear in the app store.

This is a bug, fixed in my working copy (as it was a trivial string change).

Kind regards,
