Hi devs, it doesn't look like that I'll commit anything in the near or mid-term future - there have been some changes in my private/professional life.
I'm not using Java at all at my $dayjob and overboarding tickets / todo lists s*ck out all motivation of sitting there several hours in the evening on fixing bugzilla entries - let alone that sometimes it takes ages for one issue to be resolved. Currently I'd just interested in fixing stuff in the encryption and WMF areas where I've put quite some effort in. About two years ago, I questioned a few other project PMCs on how their projects community develops and how long recent become-committers stay with the project - and the response was (and still is): it's in a dire state. I thought a few motivating emails into the mailing list could change something, but soon after I've questioned myself, what I'm doing here. [1] I hope things change eventually ...
