I think one of the best sources is to look at Excel file format
specification which is available at http://sc.openoffice.org/ (look
under the Documentation).  Chapter 5.11 contains a list of sheet
function names that may appear in a Excel file.

Now, I don't know whether this list is exhaustive since I'm not the
author (Daniel Rentz is), but I'm sure it will help in some way.

BTW, sorry about such a late reply.  I just got back from my 2-week
vacation in Shanghai, which I enjoyed a great deal. ;-)

One addition: Note that this document does not contain any of the 
Analysis add-in functions. Only built-in functions are listed.
