Fwd: [Incubator Wiki] Update of "June2017" by JeffFeng

2017-06-13 Thread John D. Ament
I'm unable to find any evidence that the mentors (Ashutosh & Luke) actually
provided this sign off. There's no record on any list. Please either have
the mentors do the sign off or have them post some kind of comment on a
list indicating they signed off.

Re: [DRAFT] What the new Status Pages potentially look like

2017-06-13 Thread Jim Apple
What format of data is expected in the fields? Impala's new status
page SVN config file

is:

---
:issueTracker: jira
:wiki: IMPALA
:jira: IMPALA
:proposal: http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/ImpalaProposal
:asfCopyright:
:distributionRights:
:ipClearance:
:sga:
:website: http://impala.incubator.apache.org
:graduationDate:
:resolution:

I do not know how to fill out asfCopyright, distributionRights,
ipClearance, or sga. Note that I believe I understand what these
things ARE, I just don't know how to word them -- "asfCopyright: OK"?

I also don't know which one(s) correspond to the bold red "No Release
Yet" on . FWIW, Impala
has had a couple of ASF releases.

Verbose variable names

2017-06-13 Thread Giedrius Virbalas
Hi all!

A really quick one (hopefully).

Is there a way to display verbose metric and dimension names in table
headers (or other visualisation types), as opposed to the default names?

Verbose names seem to appear in most dropdown menus, etc, but not in the
actual visualisations.

Thank you!
