I've recently been working on the Apache Synapse project and need to get
some questions/doubts cleared regarding the repository.

1. Is the https://github.com/apache/synapse repo the actual repo used by
Synapse devs or is it a mirror?
2. I noticed something odd while perusing the README, in that the "synapse
daily build passing" badge seems to be a static .svg and not connected to a
