[2] https://syncope.apache.org/docs/3.0/reference-guide.html#mysql To better understand the causes of the errors you should analyze logs in $CATALINA_HOME/logs folder. You wrote that you want to use Syncope to make a POC. About this, If you want to configure and customize Syncope, please also consider working on a Syncope archetype [3] https://syncope.apache.org/docs/getting-started.html#create-project and use it instead of the standalone.
