            Bug ID: 59191
Summary: Secure wss connections do not support SNI
           Product: Tomcat 8
           Version: 8.0.32
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Mac OS X 10.1
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: WebSocket
          Assignee: dev@tomcat.apache.org
          Reporter: kmcla...@gmail.com

The SSL/TLS wss connections established through WsWebSocketContainer.java do
not support SNI or at least I have been unable to get it to work.

Note that it (javax.net.debug=all output) is missing the server_name extension.

It should show something like:

Extension server_name, server_name: [type=host_name (0), value=foo.example.com]

Is there a way to add support (even if it requires extending/overriding some
classes)?

Using Java 1.8.0_74 on OS X.
