Re: [Dev] Ldap UserStore Configuration: Use of Auxiliary Object Classes

2017-01-16 Thread kawas
Hello Chamalee,

Thank you for the article reference, I have done quite the same setup using
OpenLdap instead of ApacheDS.

But my question was more on the WSO2 IS side, I don't know if I'm missing
something but, using an LDAP UserStore, I failed to find in the console
management a place to configure Auxiliary Objects for Users or Groups.

If it is not possible to use auxiliary objects for User or Groups, it could
be a nice feature to have to allow a flexible configuration of LDAP
UserStores.
For example, it provides an easy way to add custom attributes to WSO2 IS
users in order to define better claims mapping.

Regards,

Kawas

Hi Kawas,

Please refer [1] for creating auxiliary object Classes in WSo2 Identity
Server to be used with LDAP servers.
This may answer your question.

[Dev] Ldap UserStore Configuration: Use of Auxiliary Object Classes

2017-01-11 Thread kawas
Hello,

Using Ldap as a UserStore, I want to use custom attributes for my users
mainly in claims mapping.

I don't really like the idea of creating a new objectClass in Ldap and
configure WSO2 IS accordingly,
- Would it be possible to specify optional auxiliary objectClasses in
UserStore configuration ?
