Having this issue as well. Editing the existing page would be better, because there will already be all kinds of links to it all over the place, and we want it to be up to date. We could treat this as a draft, I guess, to work on the new content before updating the existing page. -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Twitter: AdamW_Fedora | XMPP: adamw AT happyassassin . net http://www.happyassassin.net -- devel mailing list devel@lists.fedoraproject.org https://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org

Re: [Modularity] RFC: rebuilding components of modules and namespace issues
I'll have a closer look at copr's features and its usability for building modules soon. There's a taiga card especially for this: http://taiga.fedorainfracloud.org/project/modularity/us/554 > And very soon it will allow defining the package set in buildchroot completely Do you have an estimate when this feature will be available ? [HEADS UP] angelscript soname bump
I did update from 2.30.2 to 2.31.0 and didn't notice that there was API breakage, but soname was still -> 0. Upstream breaks API each X.Y.0 release so I did some changes in their buildsystem and now soname is -> 2.31 and will change each X.Y.0 release. Looks like that nothing except SuperTuxKart uses it (which I will rebuild soon). It's related to change in new swig-3.10. New selinux.py module create by the new swig doesn't use imp.find_module('_selinux', [dirname(__file__)]) but importlib.import_module('_selinux') and since libselinux used to drop its _selinux.so to /usr/lib64/python3.5/site-packages/selinux/, the module wasn't able to load it. # rpm -q libselinux libselinux-2.5-7.fc25.x86_64 # python3 -c 'import selinux' Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib64/python3.5/site-packages/selinux/__init__.py", line 18, in swig_import_helper return importlib.import_module(mname) File "/usr/lib64/python3.5/importlib/__init__.py", line 126, in import_module return _bootstrap._gcd_import(name[level:], package, level) File "", line 986, in _gcd_import File "", line 969, in _find_and_load File "", line 956, in _find_and_load_unlocked ImportError: No module named '_selinux' During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred: Traceback (most recent call last): File "", line 1, in File "/usr/lib64/python3.5/site-packages/selinux/__init__.py", line 21, in _selinux = swig_import_helper() File "/usr/lib64/python3.5/site-packages/selinux/__init__.py", line 20, in swig_import_helper return importlib.import_module('_selinux') File "/usr/lib64/python3.5/importlib/__init__.py", line 126, in import_module return _bootstrap._gcd_import(name[level:], package, level) ImportError: No module named '_selinux' # dnf update ... # rpm -q libselinux libselinux-2.5-8.fc25.x86_64 # python3 -c 'import selinux' # Petr -- Petr Lautrbach signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature -- devel mailing list devel@lists.fedoraproject.org https://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org
