Re: COPR and new chroot naming

2017-02-21 Thread Catalin
Many changes into Fedora area is instability with development and for
attracting
new developers.
I advocate the development of overlapping time periods only reason : the
developers implement the software into many distributions.
That allow to make changes in time.
... a real problem is spam and inconsistent data and information under
Fedora distro.

Re: errors or bugs !?

2017-02-20 Thread Catalin
I hope some problems will be fixed into the new Fedora 26
1.
I think is the script from Nautilus who find the software ...
I can fill a bug report because I'm not into development team.
I show you just to see if is a common error.
Also some label test need to be changed from "Open With Other Application"
to something similar - "Try to open with application"
all words are upercase, and this is not the great way to have a finish task
with that task.
maybe will not be open with the application
2.
will be great also if we can see all row with blue color from Find New
Application for
software installed not just that little blue square.
also the correct way is: "Try with a new application" or "Find a new
application to ..."

OK, so just one bug report then, against Nautilus.

errors or bugs !?

2017-02-19 Thread Catalin
Hi.

I try to open a file with another application under Fedora 25
[mythcat@localhost ~]$ uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 4.9.9-200.fc25.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Feb 9 17:28:13
UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
What is the problem's:

- can you see multiple detections of Krita and Rhythmbox?
- also, I think is more right to told us: "Try to open with application" not
"Open With Other Application";
- I don't see any editor into that list.

mono fedora integration and help

2017-02-17 Thread Catalin
Dear Fedora friends.
I have some questions about Fedora and C# -mono:

1. why don't see into Fedora distro this command:

mint = Mono Interpreter (A mono interpreter that allows for the execution
of applications without using JIT. The instructions are interpreted
directly into x86 instructions.)

2. where can I find some C# and Gtk resurces to deal with learning C# under
linux ( I used internet search and I don't find tutorials , just install
the mono into linux) .

3. Can one Fedora user (group) to help me with learning the C# under linux
and Fedora ?

Thank you. Regards.

I'm not skilled with this config files of networking.
I want to know more about how is working this file.
I saw this can activate some dns settings - but this is not the main issue.
Why is that sss word put into default file?
How can I improve my Fedora security?
I used into internet rarely and most of new config files is new for me.

I don't see the update argument output of command: dnf --help.
The dnf args is in progress ?

Also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DNF_system_upgrade is not updated.

2016-08-13 Thread Catalin
Dear friends.

I need to fix this ticket https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/ticket/402.
Is about resize images from http://fedoraplanet.org/heads/
As you knows the images are taken from file .planet .
This file has this structure:

name = Your Name
face = http://yourname.fedorapeople.org/yourpicture.png

So I need to know if is anything else from planet - aggregate and the last
css format of head image.

Please send me any info about this issue wil be very helpful for me and the
team Fedora.

Kindest regards and have a nice weekend.
