But yes, I'm manually handling those cases. Right now, it's by putting them on a list of "people who will show up as active but have acked removal". I have plans for how that can be handled in the future without me keeping a separate list on my Todoist task. But for now I am (slowly) going through every comment on tickets to make sure that everything gets handled correctly. -- Ben Cotton He / Him / His Fedora Program Manager Red Hat TZ=America/Indiana/Indianapolis ___ devel mailing list -- devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue ___ devel mailing list -- devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
Re: Orphaned packages looking for new maintainers
Most seem to come because of dependency of truth. I have not been able to take it due to lacking rights, so someone should take it for now and can transfer it to me once I have needed access rights. Intro and ownership of orphaned package.
My name is Jan Kuparinen I work as a DevOps engineer. In the past I have made rpm packages of a private project, so I have some idea of packaging progress. I have also made some contributions to various Fedora projects. I took a look at the orphaned package list for packages needing maintenance and found that https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/truth is in retired state, but is needed by quite a few other packages. There have been several commits in the last few weeks to the repo, so is this actually maintained? If indeed this package is in need of a maintainer, I think I can help with that.
