Ah right, slipped my mind. Went back to check and it seems while
F23 has stayed on par with upstream for RabbitMQ, erlang has lagged
even in F23 as it remains at 17.4 whereas 18.1 is current. I had hoped
to get srpms that I could rebuild, shame.

Thanks for the info,

[EPEL-devel] Version bump for erlang

2015-10-12 Thread Joseph L. Casale
What's the procedure for kindly petitioning for a bump in the erlang
version available for el7? It's starting to show its teeth.

Also, its seems el7 stopped getting RabbitMQ updates whereas Fedora
is right on track with upstream.

Is this something that can be helped? I have a couple projects which
depend on recent versions of both and I would be most grateful for
this.

Thanks,

[EPEL-devel] Nut packages in centos 7

2014-11-08 Thread Joseph L. Casale
I am looking at using nut as a replacement for some other software to monitor
status on an smp based apc unit. It seems that aside from some missing selinux
policies, the nut-driver service is not installable and required by nut-server
but
it fails to start at boot. However a manual start of nut-server after words is
successful.

Anyone know much about the packaging on this one that has any insight?

Thanks,
jlc
