Re: Fedora rawhide FTBFS status 2010-09-01 i386
From viewpoint of the package freemarker-2.3.13-8.fc14 the issue is in the package javamail-1.4.3-2.fc13.src.rpm: ... Internal error in the plugin manager executing goal 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-javadoc-plugin:2.7:javadoc': Unable to load the mojo 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-javadoc-plugin:2.7:javadoc' in the plugin 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-javadoc-plugin'. A required class is missing: org/apache/maven/shared/invoker/MavenInvocationException org.apache.maven.shared.invoker.MavenInvocationException ... Probably, it is common issue for some other Java packages in the list below. It was fixed in the NetBeans launcher by a patch [4] according to recommendations of the Startup Notification Protocol Specification. How I can take ownership of the packages in the devel branch, but not in Fedora 11? Those packages have been marked as retired because they have been orphaned for more than 3 months. You need to submit new review requests, specifying that this are packages which were previously in Fedora and are being resurrected Thanks for clarification. OK I'll use the review process instructions [1] for the all three already filed review requests [2] [3] [4] and wait for someone to review the packages. How to take ownership of a package in rawhide branch? - Was: [Taking ownership of the orphaned packages: bytelist, jcodings, jvyamlb]
I'm trying to complete the step 3 of the Claiming Ownership of an Orphaned Package Procedure [1] that says: 3. Press the Take Ownership button for each active branch that you want to maintain. However, I don't see such buttons associated with the rawhide for all mentioned packages, i.e. bytelist, jcodings, and jvyamlb. How I can take ownership of the packages in the devel branch, but not in Fedora 11? To resolve the issue and provide the feature in-time I'd like to take ownership of the following packages: - bytelist - Review Request #560169 [3] - jcodings - Review Request #560170 [4] - jvyamlb - Review Request #560172 [5] The spec files are updated and new SRPMs are prepared according to the current states of the corresponding projects. BTW Updating the packages is a step to reanimate JRuby on the Fedora platform.
