Over on the Robotics SIG list, we are throwing around the idea of adding a Robotics group to comps.xml, in tandem with our stalled Spin effort for F15. With or without a Robotics spin, our own comps group would be beneficial: it keeps all of the important packages in one place and lets the community know that we take robotics very seriously. I think it's in a similar vein as the design suite or the electronics lab, and it's something we can add to our F15 feature page[2]. Post to the list with a patch against comps. I can take over the task too. Thanks, regards, Ankur -- devel mailing list devel@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devel

I almost always only want specific applications, and the categorization isn't as useful as searching. A comps group for the Design Suite
Hello, Since the design team is using a design suite, would it be possible to please create a group in comps for the purpose? It would make installation of the design suite much easier for end users. The alternative is to create a meta package which isn't welcomed. This[1] is the tentative list of packages. [1]http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design_Suite_Planning#Included -- Thanks!
