Hi,

I got no real problems, but the following packages would get downgraded:

appstream-data
noarch 32-
7.fc33 fedora
 17 M
 firefox
x86_64 81.0.1-1.fc33
updates-
testing 102 M
 radare2
x86_64 4.5.0-
1.fc33.1 fedora
 4.0 M
 radare2-common
noarch 4.5.0-
1.fc33.1 fedora
 1.3 M
 strace
x86_64 5.7.0.6.7ab6-
1.fc33fedora
  1.1 M
 thunderbird
x86_64 68.10.0-
1.fc33 fedora
83 M

as far as I see there should be already bugreports for radare2 and strace.

I suppose firefox and thunderbird should not go unnoticed?

will be uninstalled.

More such package will be handled right after the freeze:

Adding them one by one is tedious (but does not harm anything). I recommend not
to do it unless absolutely time critical.

This is because copydeps has been rewritten in Rust, so I retired the python
package ("copydeps") in favour of the Rust one ("rust-copydeps"). However, as I
wrote earlier on devel [1], my Rust packages got unpushed from F33, so now
there's no new version for copydeps to get upgraded to.

The error message is for 1.0.0-12, but I see that 1.0.0-13 has been built and
submitted to bodhi recently [2]. Since it's marked as "pushed to stable", I
guess it's just a matter of waiting for the mirrors to propagate.

Take some time but All went smothly, so the unique problem I found was
with the following two packed I've had to remove:

1. copyq

Error:
Problema: conflicting requests
- nothing provides qt5-qtbase(x86-64) = 5.14.2 needed by copyq-3.12.0-
4.fc33.x86_64

2. openjfx - I've remove it and then install later again without
problem.

I've been in fedora 33 for 2 days all all fine, performance good too.

Congratulations, this is overall the most problem-free upgrade I've
encountered at the beta stage!

On two different F32 x86_64 servers, a F32 RPi quasi-server, two F32

I don't remember installing qt5-qtwebengine-freeworld for any reason so I

So it looks like cppclean needs to be rebuilt for python 3.9?

You are right, I arrived to the same conclusion. The sed call was required
with previous versions but sugar-recall 7 has explicit "#!/usr/bin/python3 in
the single file it uses it.

I have removed that sed line and I will submit the corresponding builds to
rawhide and Fedora 33.

In one machine I got this:
Problem 1: problem with installed package sugar-recall-6-4.fc31.noarch
  - sugar-recall-6-4.fc31.noarch does not belong to a distupgrade repository

Donate 1 minute of your time to test upgrades from F32 to F33

2020-10-02 Thread Miroslav Suchý
Do you want to make Fedora 33 better? Please spend 1 minute of your time and
try to run:

  # Run this only if you use default Fedora modules
  # next time you run any DNF command default modules will be enabled again
  sudo dnf module reset '*'

  sudo dnf --releasever=33 --setopt=module_platform_id=platform:f33 \
--enablerepo=updates-testing --enablerepo=updates-testing-modular \
distro-sync

This command does not replace `dnf system-upgrade`, but it will reveal
potential problems. You may also run `dnf
upgrade` before running this command.

If you get this prompt:

  ...
  Total download size: XXX M
  Is this ok [y/N]:

you can answer N and nothing happens, no need to test the actual upgrade.

But very likely you get some dependency problem now. In that case, please
report it against the appropriate package. Or
against fedora-obsolete-packages if that package should be removed in Fedora
33. Please check existing reports against
fedora-obsolete-packages first:
  https://red.ht/2kuBDPu
and also there is already bunch of "Fails to install" reports:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?bug_id=1803235_id_type=anddependson=tvp_id=11399170
