Good catch. I have orphaned this one as well.

Greetings.

I was (probibly poorly) maintaining tinymce for a while because we used
it for askbot. We no longer do need it so I am going to orphan it and
hope someone out there has more time and energy to give it the love it
needs.

There's currently some CVE's filed against it.

It's on versuon 4.5.1 and 5.0 is current.

Thank you for keeping it alive for so long. I don't have any use for
tinymce (anymore), and from my perspective, it can get removed.

Please, don't forget to also orphan python-django-tinymce (or to retire it once
tinymce is retired).

Orphaning tinymce

2020-02-15 Thread Kevin Fenzi

Thanks,

kevin

Orphaning tinymce, tinymce-spellchecker

2015-09-20 Thread Neal Gompa
I packaged tinymce and tinymce-spellchecker years ago in an effort to get
another package in. That effort was unsuccessful and I don't really have
the desire to continue "owning" them, as I cannot make sense of it enough
to keep maintaining them. I should have done this a long time ago.

If anyone is interested in taking over tinymce or tinymce-spellchecker,
please file requests for them.
