gnome-software doesn't ingest the appdata file directly, it is instead looking at bundled data from appstream-builder. Well no so fast... I've made a number of changes and it doesn't appear to show any of them, it's still using data from somewhere other than the local file. This is getting really frustrating. Preview appdata file?
In the past when I've created an appdata file for a project I was able to kill gnome-software and restart with --prefer-local so I could see that it showed up correctly. This seems to no longer work and google has not been helpful. Any workaround?
