 Here's what I see on F18, it's quite a pile:

 qxmpp-dev-0.6.3.1-1.fc18.i686
 qxmpp-dev-0.6.3.1-1.fc18.x86_64
 qxmpp-dev-devel-0.6.3.1-1.fc18.i686
 qxmpp-dev-devel-0.6.3.1-1.fc18.x86_64

This has been renamed to qxmpp in review request bug 856114 without
completing the After the review steps, however:

This one should not be obsoleted. See

Jindrich doing something about that before release.

Sorry, it must be too early in the morning for my brain to work

Decide between the two redundant and conflicting packagings of the same
code.

Well, IMHO reading the bug it just sounds like to me a mistake was made
and the obsoletes/conflicts was not removed as intended:

 +- don't conflict with latexmk (#868996)

(but that version didn't change obsoletes/conflicts at all)

Ah, that makes sense.

I'd suggest instead just mailing jnovy and asking if that was a mistake
and if he could push the correct fix before jumping to conclusions.

Hmm, I didn't think I had jumped to any conclusions. That's why I was
patiently waiting for a response on the bug. I only spoke up because
I was afraid that the appearance of latexmk on this list meant that
its destruction was imminent. In any case, Jindrich has been CCed to
the FESCO ticket, so I'll just wait for a response there.

Or maybe you aren't talking to me. I think it's too late in the
morning for me to claim that it's too early in the morning for my
brain to be working properly. I think I have to admit now that my
brain is already entering full Christmas vacation mode. C'mon
brain, back to work
