export OMPI_MCA_rmaps_base_oversubscribe=yes
to the %check section, to get it working on copr.

Would it be better to put that flag in each spec file, or should I open
a bug against openmpi, to set this flag in %_openmpi_load?


That's an interesting idea - please file the bug to discuss it further.

I had noticed this problem in Copr in fact.
I will add that `mpirun` option.
