Ahh OK so nevermind.

Plus also this was a dual disk installation that almost certainly
excluded the volume macOS is on, because it wouldn't have been
selected as a destination. So chances are this bug was in beta.

What's the filename of the ISO you're testing and how was the install
media created? I don't know that it matters, but we should track it in
case it's a factor. In particular I'm wondering if it's live media vs
netinstaller.

And you do hit the bug with Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-25-1.2.iso ?

That's probably https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=893179

Both entries are now obsolete and can't work for multiple reasons. The
upstream code has bit rotted. The way forward is to chainload the
Apple bootloader on the recovery/boot volume; or just drop OS X
autodetect and expect the user to press the option key at boot time to
get the firmware's boot manager.

2016-11-11 Thread White, Langdon
Does this still need testing? I have a MacBook pro I could try it on.

How old can the OSX box be? I have in a box an old Mac mini (Dual core
and can only officially supported to 10.7) I have no issues to put to
service.

Urgent call for testing: OS X dual boot

2016-11-10 Thread Adam Williamson
Hi, folks! We've had an F25 blocker proposed for failure to install as
a dual boot with OS X:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1393846

is there anyone who has an OS X system they can run this kind of test
on (i.e. one they don't mind getting messed up if something goes
wrong)? We would like more testing data so we can figure out if this is
a system-specific issue or if all OS X dual boot is broken.
