I'm taking ec2-metadata. Thank you. The sphinx documentation could be skipped: the documentation is probably available on the web anyway. Or one could patch out the sphinx version checks — sphinx is fairly backwards compatible and in my experience the checks are always wrong. Good. s3cmd sems to have been superseded, at Amazon, by awscli. Unfortunately, awscli is a !@#$!#@ to RPM bundle. I tried. The difficulty is the chain of python module dependencies, each of which have python module dependencies, and some of which have *conflicting* python module dependencies. The conflicts apply especially to the Sphinx versions used to build the documentation of different modules. So s3cmd is going to be a necessary RPM until and unless that python dependency hell for awscli is resolved, unless people are willing to run "sudo pip install awscli" and accept possibly replacing working RPM versions of python modules. ___ devel mailing list -- devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org
