Ownership of DMity
I want to takeover the ownership of the subject package, however, I don't seem to be able to do so from within the package database. Can anyone please advise? Thanks. Ian-- devel mailing list devel@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devel

Username is chameleon, and I am a new contributor so I don't yet have sponsorship. Thanks for replying. What's your FAS username? Are you sponsored into the packager group? -Toshio -- devel mailing list devel@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devel
Re: Ownership of DMitry
Thanks for your reply. I had read the Wiki page, but there's no mention of new contributors adopting orphaned packages. So I have to submit the orphan as new all over again in order to kickstart the new contributor process? Thanks. Thanks for taking the time to clarify the procedure. It's nice to find a friendly list! Thanks. Re: DMitry
Thanks for the information. I have tried to contact upstream with no success, their website hasn't been updated in a while, and the latest sources appear to be five years old. There hasn't been a package update in three months so I'll submit as new after I fix a few issues. Thanks.
